Welcome

We would like to welcome you to the Samuel Ryder Academy primary phase. We are a vibrant and energetic school, where children are enthusiastic and eager to learn. We have a firm belief that the possibilities for our children to achieve are endless. We build our practice around the academy's core values of ACE (Achievement, Care and Excellent Standards) and the children's welfare is at the heart of every decision that we make.

We pride ourselves on being innovative and consistent in our holistic approach and continually encourage teaching staff to reflect on current practices to improve both teaching and learning. As part of the Scholars' Multi Academy Trust, we all value the power of learning and scholarship and we believe that we are all lifelong students.

Through our engaging, exciting and diverse curriculum, we offer children opportunities to ensure that they can all foster a passion for learning and curiosity. This will enable them to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We nurture individual talents through a range of extra-curricular activities and ensure that all children experience success.

We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard all parents and carers as an active partner in their children's education. We immensely value all of our parents and carers interest and views and we understand the importance of this relationship in the children's success.

It is so lovely to be able to observe and celebrate children's successes and personal achievements as they flourish and progress through their school life here at Samuel Ryder Academy.
