Alban Learning Partners

We work in partnership with Loreto College, Marlborough Science Academy, Nicholas Breakspear School, St Albans Girls' School and Townsend Church of England School and this  partnership is called Alban Learning Partners.

The Alban Learning Partners was formed because we know that by working together we are able to provide the young people of St Albans with a much more comprehensive Sixth Form experience that provides students with:

  • a wider range of courses
  • access to better facilities and resources including some very specialised facilities
  • access to a wider range of expertise and support.

The partnership also has many benefits for the schools themselves as it helps to ensure that we are continually driving up standards and results.

By working together we are able to provide one another with collegiate challenge and support that helps us to continually improve the professional development of our staff and the quality of teaching and learning. We also use our partnership for increased capacity and to benchmark against others and share best practice and specialist expertise.

Students at our schools can study courses at other schools within the Partnership.
