Sixth Form Admissions 2026

We warmly invite you and your child to our Post-16 Information Evening, which will take place on Thursday 11th December from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. This is an excellent opportunity to explore our Post-16 offer and make informed choices about your child’s next steps.

Please join us for our “Introducing SRA Sixth Form” sessions, presented by Mr Barry, Ms Jose, and our Head Students, at either 6:00pm or 7:15pm in the Drama Studio. This will give you an insight into our vision for SRA Sixth Form; our new Sixth Form facilities being constructed; Post-16 pathways; and our personalised approach to your child’s Post-18 choices.

To reserve your place, please click here to book your preferred session

We also encourage you to attend up to four Subject Talks to help make an informed choice. They will be delivered by our departments, where you will gain valuable insight into each course, hear from current Sixth Form students, and ask staff or current students any individual questions. No booking is required for these sessions.

All of our course information can be found here: Sixth Form Curriculum

As a preview opportunity, we are also offering Post-16 Open Tours during the week beforehand. These tours allow you and your child to see lessons in action and experience three subjects in a real classroom setting. Each family may select one tour only:

  • Tour Groups A–G: Monday 1st December, 9:00am–10:00am
  • Tour Groups H–K: Tuesday 2nd December, 9:00am–10:00am
  • Tour Groups L–N: Wednesday 3rd December, 2:00pm–3:00pm

Children are expected to attend with a parent or carer.

Please click here to register for a Post-16 Open Tour

We look forward to welcoming your family to Samuel Ryder Academy and showing you all that our Sixth Form has to offer.
