Year 10 Art Trip: Natural History Museum, Tring

Our Year 10 Art GCSE students recently visited the Natural History Museum in Tring as part of the photography element of their Component 1 portfolio. With their coursework theme centred around ‘Animals’, the museum provided the perfect setting for creative inspiration.

The students were outstanding throughout the day. They captured a wide variety of high-quality photographs and produced detailed pencil and fineliner sketches. After lunch, they also took part in an engaging specimen workshop, further enriching their understanding and ideas for their portfolios.

We’re excited to see the portfolio sheets that will emerge from this valuable experience. Well done, Year 10!
