Harry Potter trip

Year Six began their first full week back after Christmas with their much anticipated visit to the Warner Bros Studio in Leavesden. They had a fabulous day on Monday as they visited ‘The Making of Harry Potter’. As part of their English learning, they are studying Harry Potter and the trip enabled them to experience the real sets and learn all about the production of the films.

As well as the studio tour, the children participated in an English screen writing lesson, in which they were able to physically handle real props that were used in the films and create their own screenplays.

It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and the awe and wonder that the children displayed throughout the day. We hope to continue to further explore the story to create some wonderful pieces of learning during the term - our students cannot wait to use what they have learnt and seen!
