St Albans Spring Festival

Our Year 9 Graphic Communication students recently took part in a project designing a poster for the new St Albans Spring Festival.

The project was a huge success, and representatives from St Albans City Council visited Samuel Ryder Academy to see their work.

The council professionally printed 50 posters of our students’ designs, and they were put on display around St Albans to promote the festival.

Our students were invited to yesterday’s festival; there was an exhibition run by our students displaying their work, as well as an exhibition from the digital 2025 Artist and Residents community project.

It was a wonderful day, showcasing the students’ incredible work; it was a unique opportunity for the students to be able to speak to the public about both projects.
