Year 4 The Hive Residential

On Monday and Tuesday, our Year 4 children enjoyed The Hive Residential in Epping Forest, Essex.

‘The Hive’ is a trip where the children will learn, explore, and participate in climate and sustainability education, deemed critical in helping young people understand the impacts of climate change, encouraging healthy attitudes and behaviours, while also developing competencies and leadership skills that are vital for a sustainable future. Therefore, all of the programmes for students are designed to embed and embolden climate action.

Our Year 4 children had a fantastic time taking part in a range of outdoor adventures, including team games, exploring the forest, enjoying the sunshine and singing songs and toasting marshmallows around the campfire. A definite highlight of the trip was handling the animals as well as exploring the animals and their skeletons.
