Duke of Edinburgh Bronze ExpeditionPosted on 09/07/2021
Over the weekend, twenty-eight Year 10 students took part in their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze expedition. This involved a thirty-five kilometre hike over two days and an over night camp. The students, working in groups, were required to overcome a series of challenges including, navigation using a map and compass, extreme weather, setting up tents and cooking.
As the supervisor of the expedition, it was a privilege to witness the resilience and determination shown by these students in overcoming a genuine challenge, both physically and mentally.
